I've been going through what Docs said was Burn Out due to caring for a friend complex PTSD for nearly 20 years. I've read practically all on this guide and it somehow put things in perspective for me. Makes you realise things can get better and you are not the only one. That it isn't any personal failure on my part. That my breakdown has helped me to re evaluate my priorities and my friend and I have managed to set boundaries so long as I make us both stick to them. Now it isn't just her, its both of us to be caring and sensible. There will still be downs I'm sure, but now I feel we have something good to look back on and refresh. My doctors were fantastic.

Talks about it clearly and has examples, I think the word is used too much without fully understanding how much it affects you in life and what it does, This is good for explaining.
